A great course if you are looking for a foundation course in make up to help you, family & friends. Or perhaps to start a career in beauty training with makeup, then this course is for you!

This is a great foundation course to teach you the basics of make up with facial contouring & layers as well as eye, lips, etc.! Learn for yourself or to treat others, it's up to you.

This popular 1 day course will show you how to:

• Be able to consult, plan and prepare for makeup
• Be able to apply makeup products
• Know the organisational and legal requirements related to make-up application
• Know how to work safely and effectively when providing make-up services
• Know how to use client consultation, treatment planning and preparation for make-up services
• Know anatomy and physiology related to makeup
• Know the contra-indications and contra actions of makeup
• Know how to apply makeup
• Know how to provide aftercare advice for clients following makeup services
• Understanding of professional makeup application and tips and trends through demonstrations and practical methods
• Hands on experience with the guidance of an experienced working, professional makeup artist

Our full day courses run from 10am to 4.30pm. We ask that you arrive for around 9.30am so you can grab yourself a cuppa from our student lounge, meet your fellow students and get yourself prepared for your day of learning. Although we have a finish time in our classes, if we need to we will stay if your training needs us to.

Our classes are kept small to ensure you receive the attention you deserve. Our experienced trainers are hand-selected by our Training Director Naomi O’Hara and pride themselves on their delivery and attention to detail.
